Christmas 2009

We are all spread out this year and most of us will be getting together in the coming week so we had a low key different Christmas. After breakfast Franky and I headed out on a hike.
There was Nobody on the trails as we headed to Carson Falls above Kent Lake. We parked in the wrong spot so our 5 miler turned into a 7 miler.
Lovely granite falls and pools. We haven't had much rain, but they are flowing.
A little tricky, Frank is much quicker than I.
Any fish in there?
There is usually lots of photogs here. We were alone here, that's nice.
Cute bridge, they have redoing some of the trails. Since state funding was cut the work has stopped.
God did good!
Rock stacking. The latest outdoor quest, that's another blog.
The old sled trail back down was in desperate need of some love. We were late so we hitched a ride as soon as we hit hit road. Don't want Gramma to worry. Frank brought a big tick home. That was exciting!
Got cleaned up and drove up to Occidental in Sonoma. A Bay Area tradition for the best Italian family style dining. Oh so quaint!
Very Festive, carols on the piano and smells sooo good.
Steak eating seems to be making Spence aggressive! Or it could of been the cute waitress. By this time we had been through five courses.
We need a nap before we drive home.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
