We are blessed to have so many beautiful place to wike here in Marin. I wike everyday and have been dragging Peggy with me. We are trying to get her lymph flowing to improve her chi. I'm plain fat and need to walk as to not turn into the 600 Pound Non-Virgin. I never take a camera, but since I'm blogging....

Lake Lagunitas in the Marin Water Shed land above Fairfax. You can see the top of Mt. Tam.

It is the closest lake to our house, about 10 minutes.

At the Dam

Go, Mom, Go! Its about 2 miles so it is a good workout for a 75 year old with a bum leg.

A nice mix of Oaks, Madrones and of course Redwoods.

There are lots of reminders not to jump in. In high school we hung here alot and paid no attention to such warnings. Lot's of skinny dipping up here.

The little grassy knoll we named "Doobie Beach" way back when. We spotted Tommy Johnston from the Doobie Brothers sans clothing sunning himself there. We also sparked quite a few there. (Hey, it was Marin in the 70's)

Lot's of outdoor education takes place. We are habitat lovers here in Marin.
I'm glad to see the woodpeckers are back. There were lots when I was little and then they dissappeared. I have been hearing them again lately...a soothing fast tap.

Good Job!

I love my car!

Stopped at the Sustainability Center to tak a photo of thea worm bin so Franky can make me one. The sign on the door reads,"If we are not here, come in and man the desk."

Great Idea if compost is a problem. We have problems with a compost pile because it attracts critters. This way it is all contained and you make worm tea!

Marin is so green it's a little embarrassing.

Home we go!
